Very fragrant yellow flowers open late winter on this large mollis species. However as you see in the photo. Old leaves persist.
This plant is much like Jelena in my eyes; the flowers might have a little more red tinge, but they are a gorgeous coppery show.

More sticking out sideways than weeping, this plant with its orangish flowers would be good grafted on a standard.
This is my personal favorite: the flowers are large and copper colored; the brown leaves fall off before the bloom arrives in January, and it is fragrant.
