I have four of these planted on the south side of my house because they are always beautiful. In summer the flowers are dark pink and heavy; in fall the glossy small leaves turn scarlet, and in winter I can enjoy the trunk which is smooth and mottled pink. zone 6

Hardy and fast growing to 40 or 50′, this Black Locust is a sight to see in the spring. zone 4

Lacy Lady (Robinia pseudoacacia ‘Lacy Lady’)
This contorted dwarf black locust is a picturesque addition to a garden; the amazing twisting branches will spread out as far as it will grow tall (15′). It produces no flowers, but the curly leaves make up for it. zone 3
